What To Expect

Arizona ATV Adventures

The West Sedona Canyon Tour area is about 8 miles west of Sedona. Make your own way to the departure point and from there, you will be taken to the trailhead in a 15-passenger van. The 3-hour tour begins when you arrive at the trailhead. This is the outback of the West Sedona Valley, where over 40 movies have been filmed over the years. There is over a hundred miles of trails to choose from, which provides your guide with the opportunity to customize each tour based on the age, interests and skill levels of the group. You’ll be awestruck by a view of the Verde Valley from the top of Skeleton Bone Mountain, over 800 feet above the valley floor. And don’t be surprised if some antelope run alongside you as you drive along the valley floor! For your safety and comfort, wear closed-toed shoes, long pants, and bring your sunglasses. Also, bring your camera; the views are spectacular!

Donnie and Tim were very thorough with explaining how to ride, giving all drivers a test ride to judge skill level and then set up our groups. We had water and snacks provided. Donnie and Tim were very good at making sure everyone was comfortable and safe.

Highly recommend this tour. You will get your money’s worth. You get to go in the back country, the awesome guides Aaron and Tim explain the natural and cultural history of the area, and the trails are beautiful.

I have never been to Arizona before and my boyfriend and I found this place and it was absolutely incredible! I have never ridden an ATV before, but the guides were incredible at teaching all of us. Our tour guides were Tim and Aaron and they were awesome! They were funny, friendly and gave us some great stories about Sedona. This is a MUST thing to do when you visit Arizona. It was worth every penny!
