The West Sedona Canyon Tour area is about 8 miles west of Sedona. Make your own way to the departure point and from there, you will be taken to the trailhead in a 15-passenger van. The 3-hour tour begins when you arrive at the trailhead. This is the outback of the West Sedona Valley, where over 40 movies have been filmed over the years. There is over a hundred miles of trails to choose from, which provides your guide with the opportunity to customize each tour based on the age, interests and skill levels of the group. You’ll be awestruck by a view of the Verde Valley from the top of Skeleton Bone Mountain, over 800 feet above the valley floor. And don’t be surprised if some antelope run alongside you as you drive along the valley floor! For your safety and comfort, wear closed-toed shoes, long pants, and bring your sunglasses. Also, bring your camera; the views are spectacular!

Tim and Aaron were great at instruction and making me feel less butterflies about my first time ATV experience. Our group went with Tim and the 23 mile ride was safe yet had some fun, adventurous moments (for me at least). The views were breathtaking from our vantage point and the breaks were appreciated. I was solo on this excursion but felt very comfortable with our group. Everyone was very friendly. Tim had fun stories to share and it was a great way to enjoy the outdoors and get a quick overview of the red rock formations. I was only in Sedona for a two night stay so this excursion covered alot of ground for me. Getting the clay dust blown off of us with the leaf blower at the end was hilarious but necessary. Be prepared to get dusty. They provide a bandana (to use over a Covid mask- believe me, it's not over the top to use both), goggles and helmet. Gloves are provided upon request. They provide bottled water so no need to bring your own. This was the highlight of my trip to Sedona. So glad I booked this excursion!

It was my first time on an ATV and it was a fun experience. Tim and Aaron were very informative teachers and it was pretty easy to pick up on how to drive the quad. We had rest stops at spots that had beautiful views of the Red Rocks. Tim would tell us stories about the area which were interesting and funny. My wife and I had a blast and we would definitely do it again.

This is so worth it with the beautiful views you can see. They are a lot of fun to drive and can become very challenging with the up hills and down and rocks everywhere. The guides were great and made sure everyone was ok. Will do it again.
