What To Expect

Arizona ATV Adventures

The West Sedona Canyon Tour area is about 8 miles west of Sedona. Make your own way to the departure point and from there, you will be taken to the trailhead in a 15-passenger van. The 3-hour tour begins when you arrive at the trailhead. This is the outback of the West Sedona Valley, where over 40 movies have been filmed over the years. There is over a hundred miles of trails to choose from, which provides your guide with the opportunity to customize each tour based on the age, interests and skill levels of the group. You’ll be awestruck by a view of the Verde Valley from the top of Skeleton Bone Mountain, over 800 feet above the valley floor. And don’t be surprised if some antelope run alongside you as you drive along the valley floor! For your safety and comfort, wear closed-toed shoes, long pants, and bring your sunglasses. Also, bring your camera; the views are spectacular!

Our family of four, boys ages 12 & 16, had a fantastic time on this tour! The ATVs are easy to drive for “newbies”, but you have to be 16. We did two vehicles and switched off drivers between the three of us. My 12 year old made us promise to come back in 4 years! Tim was a super easy going, easy to understand, and easy to like guide. He’s also a good photographer!

Our tour guides Alain and Tim were awesome! We took the 8am tour and it was our first time in Sedona. If you’re looking for an amazing tour - look no further! My husband and I both had a blast. I rode as a passenger (I’ve never been on an ATV before) but Tim encouraged me to try driving on a flat area of the trail towards the end of the tour and I’m glad I did! We felt very safe and there are some amazing views on the trail. Well worth the money. Highly recommend to wear pants, put sunscreen on and be ready for a bumpy (but fun!) ride!
