Arizona ATV Adventures
The West Sedona Canyon Tour area is about 8 miles west of Sedona. Make your own way to the departure point and from there, you will be taken to the trailhead in a 15-passenger van. The 3-hour tour begins when you arrive at the trailhead. This is the outback of the West Sedona Valley, where over 40 movies have been filmed over the years. There is over a hundred miles of trails to choose from, which provides your guide with the opportunity to customize each tour based on the age, interests and skill levels of the group. You’ll be awestruck by a view of the Verde Valley from the top of Skeleton Bone Mountain, over 800 feet above the valley floor. And don’t be surprised if some antelope run alongside you as you drive along the valley floor! For your safety and comfort, wear closed-toed shoes, long pants, and bring your sunglasses. Also, bring your camera; the views are spectacular!

My husband and I had a wonderful time on this guided ATV tour. We had considered just renting ATV and going out ourselves- so glad we didn’t! Tim and Coleman were great and knew exactly where to take us for the best pictures. They were careful and attentive to everyone to make sure they were confident in how to drive the machines and having a good time. Definitely would recommend.

Got our ATVs and off we went. Very bumpy dirt road but fun just the same. Tim from South Carolina was our guide. Very good at explaining safety measures and informing us to the geological history of the red rocks. 8 million years ago this place was covered with water. Who knew?! Views that go on for days. Apparently many western movies in the 50s were filmed here. Even Elvis had a place in the desert. Really enjoyed being out in the back country for a few hours. Coleman was kind at helping out with getting the dust off of us and assisting us with the vehicle equipment and accessories. Thanks for the great ride!
