What To Expect

Arizona ATV Adventures

The West Sedona Canyon Tour area is about 8 miles west of Sedona. Make your own way to the departure point and from there, you will be taken to the trailhead in a 15-passenger van. The 3-hour tour begins when you arrive at the trailhead. This is the outback of the West Sedona Valley, where over 40 movies have been filmed over the years. There is over a hundred miles of trails to choose from, which provides your guide with the opportunity to customize each tour based on the age, interests and skill levels of the group. You’ll be awestruck by a view of the Verde Valley from the top of Skeleton Bone Mountain, over 800 feet above the valley floor. And don’t be surprised if some antelope run alongside you as you drive along the valley floor! For your safety and comfort, wear closed-toed shoes, long pants, and bring your sunglasses. Also, bring your camera; the views are spectacular!

There were quite a few people there for the tour, so they split people into 2 smaller groups, which was great. They provided safety and vehicle operation info at their store before departing, and had all drivers take a practice lap. There were some novice riders in our group, but after getting used to the ride, they did great. It was very dusty, so be prepared to get dirty! They provide bandanas and goggles, so even though we were in the very back and got the most dust, we were fine. Our guide, Tim, told us about some of the surrounding areas we visited, and kept us all safe while keeping it fun. We had a great time and would recommend this tour to others!

Tim was an amazing guide !! Super helpful and very knowledgeable. He made us feel comfortable operating the ATVs and the ride itself had incredible views. Definitely top 5 things to do in Sedona!!

This was so much fun. It was beautiful! Scott was a great guide!! We felt very safe. Note to women - wear a sports bra!! :)
