What To Expect

Arizona ATV Adventures

The West Sedona Canyon Tour area is about 8 miles west of Sedona. Make your own way to the departure point and from there, you will be taken to the trailhead in a 15-passenger van. The 3-hour tour begins when you arrive at the trailhead. This is the outback of the West Sedona Valley, where over 40 movies have been filmed over the years. There is over a hundred miles of trails to choose from, which provides your guide with the opportunity to customize each tour based on the age, interests and skill levels of the group. You’ll be awestruck by a view of the Verde Valley from the top of Skeleton Bone Mountain, over 800 feet above the valley floor. And don’t be surprised if some antelope run alongside you as you drive along the valley floor! For your safety and comfort, wear closed-toed shoes, long pants, and bring your sunglasses. Also, bring your camera; the views are spectacular!

Id love to give 5 stars because Tim our guide was sooo amazing and he saved me from leaving the event that I had already payed for and he was able to join me in shifting some pretty serious negative experiences I had woht others there. Tim is amazing and he is the reason Id like to try it again. Our ATV ride was cut short because there were some in the group that had become dehydrated and or ill therfore we needed to head back to the van. So I didnt get to enjoy the full ATv ride. The part I did ride was a lot of fun for me and as long as Tim is my guide Id do it again so I can benefit from the full adventure.

First time in Sedona so an ATV ride was a must! You can ride single or doubles. Our ride was guided by Scott and he was so attentive ^_^ each group is given a short “how to” and then you hop in van for a short ride to the OHV trail. Scott was very informative about what to expect and I felt comfortable asking questions. A cooler was packed with ice cold waters which were much needed from driving in the heat. He even had chilled candy (I took two mini Twix’s yum!) and some fig bars. I loved that he would come around and check on the drivers. Gave us high fives, wiped our goggles, and even took some great photos of my girlfriend and I. The destination scenery was mesmerizing. Overall, the ride felt safe and we were in good hands. Thank you Scott, definitely planning on coming back and bringing some friends to check it out.
