Arizona ATV Adventures
The West Sedona Canyon Tour area is about 8 miles west of Sedona. Make your own way to the departure point and from there, you will be taken to the trailhead in a 15-passenger van. The 3-hour tour begins when you arrive at the trailhead. This is the outback of the West Sedona Valley, where over 40 movies have been filmed over the years. There is over a hundred miles of trails to choose from, which provides your guide with the opportunity to customize each tour based on the age, interests and skill levels of the group. You’ll be awestruck by a view of the Verde Valley from the top of Skeleton Bone Mountain, over 800 feet above the valley floor. And don’t be surprised if some antelope run alongside you as you drive along the valley floor! For your safety and comfort, wear closed-toed shoes, long pants, and bring your sunglasses. Also, bring your camera; the views are spectacular!

We had the pleasure of having Tim as our guide and he was the absolute best. Best tour option out there compared to everything else, all the way down to the tour guide this place does it extremely well. We will most definitely be returning to do this again.

Overall service was good. Tim, our guide, was very friendly and told fun facts. He gave us several times to stop, rest and take pictures. The ATVs were well maintained, we had no problems on our tour. Tim warned us on the terrain and made sure were safe.

This was a very HOT and DUSTY ride, but we had a blast, speeds ranged from 5 mph to 30 mph. Audrey (lead) is awesome and Scott (rear) was very conscientious. Snacks were candy bars and fruit snacks with cold water. If you want anything else, bring it in a backpack that you can secure to your person. You’ll have two decent stops with enough time to eat something more substantial if you prefer. We had 10 total in our group of varying abilities. If someone was lagging too far behind, they will assist. If someone is reckless or unsafe, they will handle professionally. There are NO bathrooms so bring toilet paper for a bush break. There’s a great scenic stop where they’ll use your own camera or phone to take great photos. We recommend a panorama phone shot so you can get silly, awesome pics (see attached). They will blow off most of the dust accumulated on your clothes at the conclusion. Wear lightweight pants! I forgot mine and wore Capri workout pants. The heat from the motor on my lower leg was not fun.
