What To Expect

Arizona ATV Adventures

The West Sedona Canyon Tour area is about 8 miles west of Sedona. Make your own way to the departure point and from there, you will be taken to the trailhead in a 15-passenger van. The 3-hour tour begins when you arrive at the trailhead. This is the outback of the West Sedona Valley, where over 40 movies have been filmed over the years. There is over a hundred miles of trails to choose from, which provides your guide with the opportunity to customize each tour based on the age, interests and skill levels of the group. You’ll be awestruck by a view of the Verde Valley from the top of Skeleton Bone Mountain, over 800 feet above the valley floor. And don’t be surprised if some antelope run alongside you as you drive along the valley floor! For your safety and comfort, wear closed-toed shoes, long pants, and bring your sunglasses. Also, bring your camera; the views are spectacular!

We had a great guided tour. You can ride double or single. We chose double. Lots of breaks for scenic/fun photos. Our guide, Jon, was very friendly and knowledgeable. Clean front office and friendly staff. They provide water and a snack.

If you’re looking for a little desert adventure fun this is the place. I had never operated an ATV before, but Tim and the rest of the very nice staff had us up and running in no time. In addition to some very fun and at times challenging terrain, our guide Tim was filled with useful information about local points of interest. For example, he recommended the town of Jerome, about 25 minutes drive from the ATV takeoff point, we went after our tour, and it was very much worth it. Although this activity is a tad on the pricey side, you will thoroughly enjoy it I promise
