What To Expect

Arizona ATV Adventures

The West Sedona Canyon Tour area is about 8 miles west of Sedona. Make your own way to the departure point and from there, you will be taken to the trailhead in a 15-passenger van. The 3-hour tour begins when you arrive at the trailhead. This is the outback of the West Sedona Valley, where over 40 movies have been filmed over the years. There is over a hundred miles of trails to choose from, which provides your guide with the opportunity to customize each tour based on the age, interests and skill levels of the group. You’ll be awestruck by a view of the Verde Valley from the top of Skeleton Bone Mountain, over 800 feet above the valley floor. And don’t be surprised if some antelope run alongside you as you drive along the valley floor! For your safety and comfort, wear closed-toed shoes, long pants, and bring your sunglasses. Also, bring your camera; the views are spectacular!

My fiance and I came to Sedona for Memorial Day and booked our 8am ATV a day before our tour (we were very lucky). Tim and Audrey were great! They are very professional and definitely make you feel comfortable. It was our first time riding an ATV and Tim made sure we felt safe and enjoyed our experience. I suggest arriving 15-30min prior to tour with attire that you wouldn't mind getting really dirty. Sunblock for sure. As a woman, I suggest not wearing any makeup and have hair in a low bun. The tour itself is an absolute thrill ride and a great adrenaline activity. Tim also shared some Sedona history and suggested local eateries.

This was our second time using AZ ATV Adventures. My 15 -year-old daughter and I. We had a blast for the second time! We will be back after she gets her drivers license and can drive her own ATV so I can take my younger daughter on the back of a dual a TV.

The tour was a blast from start to finish! Tim made sure everyone in the group had a good time. We made a couple of stops where he provided us with water and great stories about the area. I would recommend to anyone.
