What To Expect

Arizona ATV Adventures

The West Sedona Canyon Tour area is about 8 miles west of Sedona. Make your own way to the departure point and from there, you will be taken to the trailhead in a 15-passenger van. The 3-hour tour begins when you arrive at the trailhead. This is the outback of the West Sedona Valley, where over 40 movies have been filmed over the years. There is over a hundred miles of trails to choose from, which provides your guide with the opportunity to customize each tour based on the age, interests and skill levels of the group. You’ll be awestruck by a view of the Verde Valley from the top of Skeleton Bone Mountain, over 800 feet above the valley floor. And don’t be surprised if some antelope run alongside you as you drive along the valley floor! For your safety and comfort, wear closed-toed shoes, long pants, and bring your sunglasses. Also, bring your camera; the views are spectacular!

My fiance and I had originally planned on seeing the Grand Canyon on this day of our trip, but he convinced anxiety-filled me to try an ATV tour instead lol. I've never been on an ATV, so we decided to ride double and switch off based on my comfort level. I ended up having the time of my life!!! The ATV is super easy to use and beginner-friendly. Clear communication with your guide helps as well, and they'll slow down and offer help whenever it's needed. The views were amazing and this is a fun way to see the sights of Sedona without fighting crowds. BIG HUGE ENTHUSIASTIC shout out to our guide, Tim!!!! From check-in, to training, to guiding our tour, to taking photos, this guy made us feel so welcome and nailed his role as our Sedona sherpa. He gave some fun historical tidbits during our breaks about the nearby town of Jerome and where old Hollywood fit in with Sedona. I really liked that during the tour, we were able to tell Tim when/if we were planning on swapping drivers and he'd make sure to pause accordingly so we got that time. I honestly was so nervous going into this experience, and Tim helped me feel comfortable and safe while still having fun. If we find ourselves in Sedona again, I would love to take another ATV tour with Tim! Thanks again for the good time and epic photos!

Seriously one of the coolest experiences I’ve ever done! The views were incredible and the ride was the most fun I had on my trip! Our instructor, Stanton, was super easygoing and patient, so we all felt comfortable driving. He was also willing to take any pictures my group wanted, and we took a lot! 10/10 would recommend!!!!
