The tour was descent. I guess for the price you can't expect more. We got to the place at 11:30 a.m. The departure time was at noon. The captain came around 12:20. When we finally got on the boat it had a nice atmosphere. The captain was friendly and had a great sense of humor. He gave out good information about the tour. My only complain was that we didn't get to see many alligators. Maybe it was my mistake to think we were going to be seeing more than one. The one we did get to see was about 40 ft away from the boat. We could only see a little bit of it, and was about 3 ft long, according to the captain. When we passed him up we came to a stop. This is where the captain brought out his pet alligator from a cooler. The guest were able to hold him. He started at the front of the boat and ended in the back. It was an overall descent tour for $16 a person.

Thank you so much for coming out on tour with us! We are sorry you didn't get to see more alligators, as they are in their natural environment and can become reclusive in the dead of the winter. We are glad you enjoyed the captain and were able to learn a few new things! Thank you again for coming out!

The tour guide went out of his way to give us a pleasant experience. he stopped several times for us to view the alligators. It was my first time in the bayou and it turned out to be a perfect way to see nature. The tour guide was very personable and seemed very interested in having everyone on board enjoy their visit.I would highly recommend this tour.

This experience was amazing! My friend and I both consider it to be our favorite thing we did in New Orleans. Our guide was super down to earth, funny, and knew a lot about the area. He even kissed an alligator on the nose (more than once). The wildlife was super cool and the pontoon boat was very fun. Definitely worth it!
