I booked a pedicab tour using a Groupon. Walking around NY City, I saw many pedicabs in Central Park. A lot of them had ripped seats and looked dirty. I had no idea what to expect. I called the number given to me and set up a tour. We met Peter Pan one block over from Central Park. That made it much easier to know which pedicab was ours. It was an hour long tour. Peter Pan was AWESOME! He spoke very good English and was very knowledgeable. He even stopped at areas for us to get some nice pictures. He also took some pictures of my husband and I. We had no idea how to use the bus or subway and he helped us. After looking at other pedicab companies, I suggest, USE PETER PAN!!!! You get your money's worth and then some. Nancy O

We intended to walk around Central Park with a guide book but saw the pedicabs at the Southeast end of the park and decided it would be fun. Our driver ,Vitali, was charming and entertaining and very informative. He was able to narrate the tour while seeming to pedal us effortlessly ( and I'm no lightweight). We especially enjoyed the stop at the Bethesda fountain to hear the singers under the archway. I don't think we would have ever found this hidden gem without our guided tour. Try it, you'll love it!

I visited Central Park in January with my hubby, sister and brother-in-law. We were going to take a walk round the park but decided to try out the pedicabs instead and we are so glad we did! We hired 2 awesome pedicab drivers, Garth & Kenny to give us a tour of Central Park and this was definitely a highlight of our trip to NY! Both guys were great and very funny, they told us all about the parks history, the movies that had featured Central Park and which famous people lived in the buildings surrounding the park. We were able to stop and get off the pedicabs whenever we wanted to take pictures and our fabulous pedicab drivers just waited patiently. We spent a few hours in the park and although we were wrapped up in our pedicabs with a blanket it was still freezing cold. It did snow a little bit during our visit but this is part of what made it a worthwhile experience. We got to see the Alice in Wonderland statue, the FRIENDS fountain and a crazy man dancing around which are only a few of the great things to see in Central Park. If you ever go and want to take a pedicab round the park, look out for Garth & Kenny. I highly recommend these guys!
