Pedicab is the best way to see Central Park in a short period of time and it is environmentally friendly. The guide i had was awesome and enthusiastic. He took me and my 10yr old daughter to the best spots, allowed us to get out of the pedicab and linger if we wanted-- which we did at Strawberry Fields which is dedicated to John Lennon where we could literally look up at the Dakota too! We also stopped at the lake near the Boathouse Restaurant and to hear an acapella group sing gospel music. I highly recommend this mode of transport for all

My Mum and I wanted to see Central park, that was the one place my Mum never saw on her last visit some forty years ago, so we went. We met with a man called Demetrius who had a rickshaw attached to a bike and he drove us through the inner circle of the park, telling us about the surrounding buildings and about the park history, he was very knowable and very sweet to my Mum helping her in and out of the Pedicab. He stopped at a few locations including Strawberry Fields where the John Lennon Memorial is, he also pointed out the place where John Lennon was shot dead and took us to the fountain where the actors from friends filmed the opening scene of their show. The ride took about an hour and cost only $85.00 without the tip a price we arranged upon before we took the ride, we felt it was amazing value for what we got, that I would do again.

Our tour of Central Park in a Pedicab was fabulous! With a 15 month old and a 6 year old it was to hard to walk yet we wanted to see all of the sites. Pedicab to the rescue. Our guide was really nice and very knowledgeable. We were able to stop at all the major sites and take tons of pictures without having to walk the whole thing. It was defiantly worth it and not only will I tell my friends, but we will do it again ourselves.
