Isabelly's Chocolates & Sweet Treats

This addition to the area sweets scene makes some of the most enticing cakeballs around—both taste-wise and visually. Isabelly’s will tempt us with some amazing flavors and cakeball shapes. Congratulations to Isabelly’s for winning “Best Cakeballs in Dallas” from the Dallas Observer, and a special “Best Dessert” award that was presented to them by Paula Deen. Guests will taste luscious cake truffles.

Year-round this organization offers great tours of all kinds. For the holiday season, their signature tour is the Christmas Lights, Chocalate & Sips tour. Excellent. You start off visiting a handful of local chocolatiers - entrepreneurs who have really taken it upon themselves to add creativity, flair and uniqueness to their preparation and presentation of chocolate. On each trip you'll visit at least 3 small business shops. I'll spotlight Kate Weiser Chocolate (locations in Trinity Groves and Northpark) - her handpainted chocolate collection and her artistic style will quickly attract you; be sure to ask about her 'Carl the Snowman'! After visiting these local chocolatiers - and tasting samples! - the tour shifts to the Chrismas Lights portion, where you get to see some of the best Christmas lights displays around town. You are watching from the comfort of your heated motorcoach or shuttle bus, so no worries about the cold weather during the holiday season. The tour is conducted by a professional (and often funny) tour guide. Very enjoyable way to spend an evening during the holidays.
