We were visiting from out of town and read about this tour online. It seemed like a fun tour so my husband and I booked it for our anniversary. We got tickets for our out of town family to go with us. The entire event was uncoordinated, and an overall awful experience that was not worth the money. The tour started by running late, due to the guide not knowing what locations we were going to or directions to the locations. We spent most of our time driving around trying to find the locations. Due to this we were late to the first stop and it was closed. Also, some of the locations were unaware we were supposed to be coming in. Thankfully three locations knew we were supposed to be there and were accommodating. On the bus the tour guide Jane, held an unprofessional attitude toward the guests and did not connect well with us. Overall we got a grand total of 3 stops, 2 1/2 hours on a bus with a tour guide with an attitude, and got to see minimal Christmas lights due to time constraints. For the amount of money spent we should have been able to see more lights and get more dessert locations. It was very disappointing and ruined a family night out and our anniversary.

A group of four of us took this tour in June. We were part of a huge group--big enough that we had to take a large bus to get around. We loved all the chocolate desserts we tried--cake balls, gourmet/designer chocolates, cupcakes, cake and ice cream. Our tour guide was fun and outgoing. Each of the proprietors took the time to talk to our group. We were stuffed! Our only complaint was that the tour started and ended in Richardson, which was way out of the way from all the other locations in Dallas. That added almost an hour of travel time. It seems that there are enough places in Dallas to get a great dessert that the time and expense of going all the way to Richardson could be avoided.

Awesome tour and the tour guide, Rhonda, was incredible. She has a feat personality that adds so much. Kate Weiser Chocolatier was the best.
