What To Expect

Bisbee

Our experienced guides will lead you on an e-bike tour through town and share with you the history, art, and architecture of Old Bisbee. You will be provided with a wireless communication earpiece that makes it easy to hear your guide and ask questions. The guided tour will last for one hour and the second hour is for you to explore Bisbee on your own.

Copper Queen Library and observation balconies EST 1882

Guests will see the Bisbee Post Office and Copper Queen Library Building. The building is an example of Renaissance Revival architecture and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. They will learn the history of the Copper Queen Library and the interesting story behind how it was established.

Superior Court of Arizona County of Cochise

Riding through town past local restaurants and shops, the tour will stop briefly at the Cochise County Courthouse, an excellent example of the Art Deco style of architecture. Here, guests will learn more of the history of the area and how Bisbee came to be the County seat. The tour will continue to a mural wall by Rose Johnson, a famous muralist from England. Guests will learn about her art in Bisbee, and her tragic death at an early age. From here, guests can return to B Active, or continue exploring Bisbee on their own.

What a great time! Had never been on a e-bike and that was fun. Riding the streets and seeing the sights while John gave a history lesson was fantastic. I couldn’t believe the colorful history of Bisbee!

My husband and I had never been to Bisbee and wanted to learn a bit from a local at the start of our short one night stay. We absolutely loved our e-bike tour with Carey! She’s super nice and clearly knows her home town well. As we’d never ridden e-bikes before, she ran through all the instructions and gave us a chance to test drive in a parking lot before we hit the up and down streets of Bisbee together. We explored most of the historic downtown and Carey shared history notes and pointed out unique buildings and businesses or artwork along our guided tour. After the guided portion of the tour, we had about 45 minutes to ride on our own, which was also super fun! Loved the Bluetooth communication device they provided, which allowed us to talk (and listen!) along the way. We highly recommend B Active Bisbee! If you don’t have time for a tour, stop by their shop to say hello!

Our guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. I learned a lot about Bisbee and had fun doing it! I liked that the tour was an hour and then we had an hour to ourselves to cruise around on the e-bikes.
