My brother Joe and I were in Jackson Hole, Wy for a week-long vacation involving fly fishing and golf. We signed on with Jackson Hole Anglers for 2 1/2 days of fly fishing on the Snake River. We chose them because of the great experience we had with them last year. Again for the 2012 trip, their service was top notch. Our guide was again Matt Lloyd who has 15 years of guide experience. He was excellent not only in customer service but he has a depth of knowledge of the River, quality fishing spots, types of flies to use and recommendations on improving our fly fishing skills He is also a very personable and articulate guy on a wide range of subjects..We caught a lot fish on this excursion and thoroughly enjoyed Matts company Owner Dave had everything coordinated perfectly and made sure everything went smoothly. If you plan to be in the Jackson Hole area to do some fishing, I highly recommend you contact Jackson Hole Anglers. You will not be disappointed. Dave and Joe Herkalo.

I just wanted to send a brief note to you regarding the excellent guided fishing trip I experienced with your guide, Matt Lloyd. My all day float trip down the Snake River was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable guided fishing adventures that I've had. Matt was skilled, patient, informative and one of the most cordial fellows that I could have hoped to meet. He knew the river well; knew the best holes and drifts; was quick to change out flies for the changing bite; maneuvered the boat expertly and never complained about removing wind knots, tangles and casts into the brush. In addition, I was treated to a gourmet lunch with a table, chair and tablecloth!! It was an exceptionally beautiful day and we had the chance to view geese and bald eagles at just about every turn in the river. Oh, and the extra bonus was that we caught many beautiful fish throughout the day. Again, thanks to Jackson Hole Anglers and Matt Lloyd for a most enjoyable experience. I booked a full day fishing with Jackson Hole Anglers during our week long vacation to the area. Matt, our guide, picked us up at 7:30, for a full day float fishing on the snake river. The fishing was great. My husband is an avid fisherman, but I am not, and still had a great time. We caught over 30 fish! Matt, our guide, knew exactly where the fish were, and knew what flies were best to use. We passed several other guided trips, but never saw them catch anything! My husband was hesitant about me picking out the guide for his trip, but Trip Advisor is great, and makes the trip planning easy. Be certain to book with Jackson Hole Anglers, you will have a great day fishing!!
