Shoshone Falls
Take a short drive to Shoshone Falls, known as "the Niagara of the west". There, you will find yourself surrounded in ancient volcanic geologic history as your interpretive guide takes you back in time more than 15,000 years when Lake Bonneville overflowed its rim some 300 miles away ripping away Idaho's terrain and creating this stunning natural wonder ranked as one of the top three waterfalls in the United States. Walk down onto the main viewing platform for an up close experience and spectacular views just yards from the top of the flowing falls. This famous waterfall stands 212 feet high and spans 950 feet across the Snake River Canyon.

Perrine Bridge
Spanning 1,500 feet across the Snake River Canyon, the I. B. Perrine Memorial Bridge is at a height 486 feet above the Snake River. I had never been to Idaho before visiting Twin Falls. The only thing I knew about Idaho was ā€œFamous Potatoes.ā€ So I figured what the heck, a guided tour might be informative. And indeed it was! Gabrielle, the owner of Big Green Adventure Tours, was my guide and I thoroughly enjoyed my tour. I did the Shoshone Falls and City tour. Gabrielle pointed out stuff I would have walked by and never noticed. She also provided me with interesting historical facts about the region, again stuff I never would have known. And not only was Gabrielle an excellent tour guide, she was also very friendly and pleasant!
