The tour was actually conducted by a third party vendor, Coastline Tours. It was titled as a half-day Private Guided Tour in a Lincoln Navigator with an 8:00 AM departure. I booked the tour for 4 people. The afternoon before the tour I received a message from Sean that he would be across from Long's Drugs at 8:30 AM the next morning. That evening, I received another message saying saying he would see us as soon as we got off the ship and would be leaving before 9:30 or so. Just to be safe , we arrived at the designated spot at 8:00 AM. We waited for 45 minutes and finally called him. He was standing at the crosswalk from the ship's entrance with a sign trying to solicit another two people to take the tour. He told us he would not leave until 9:30 unless he got two more riders. We argued that this was billed as a "private" tour and we refused to ride with strangers in such small accommodations, in part, because of COVID concerns, but also because we wouldn't have a very good view looking out the window with 6 people crammed in the vehicle. He said he didn't know anything about this being a private tour, and if he didn't add two more people, our costs would go up. We said we already paid for the tour and he couldn't change the price. We also said if he insisted on adding two more people, we would cancel and demand our money back. He kept arguing with us, but in the end, he wasn't able to get two more people and we left at 9:30, all of us in very bad moods. Once we all calmed down, we began to enjoy the trip, as Sean was a very good driver and was extremely knowledgeable and informative.

Hello again, thanks for the information that I need to make sure that the Viator site shows exactly what we offer. I'll make sure that it only reads half way to Hana, at a per person rate, max of 7 in a Lincoln Navigator. In the future for anybody who would like the whole vehicle all to themselves would simply buy out six seats. I'll make sure the wording is more simplified and sorry for the miscommunication on the viator site. We stopped at every location and more and I hope you come back to Maui and enjoy more of what you saw. It was a pleasure meeting all of you.
