Peek-A-Boo Slot Canyon is a quiet, special place off the beaten path just outside of beautiful Kanab. The quiet serenity of beautiful colored Navajo Sandstone rocks that have taken millions of years to form will take your breath away and leave you wanting more.

This is a group tour, but no combination of groups will exceed 10 travelers so that we can keep the experience affordable and intimate.

What To Expect

Peek-A-Boo Slot Canyon

On this group tour, (no more than 10 people to keep it affordable and intimate) you will explore the beauty and wonder of Peek a Boo Slot canyon in Kanab, Utah. It's an easy 1.5 mile (2.4K) hike roundtrip through a spectacular slot canyon located about 10 miles north of Kanab. This is a must see while in the Kanab area.

We had a great time on our tour with Lara. Visiting a slot Canyon was a great addition to our national park trip in Utah. Peek-a-boo Canyon is a little off the beaten path; we would have struggled on the dirt roads to find it so we are glad we chose this tour. We were also fortunate that there was no other people at the Canyon when we got there! Lara was knowledgeable about various components of the slot Canyon and even showed us a fossil! She took many pictures of us as well which we are grateful for. Once she got to know us she was able to show us more sites in the area that we found very interesting that we never would have known were there. After she was also able to recommend local hikes that had exactly what we were looking for and recommended a great place for lunch! We would love to take a tour with Lara again in the future!

I had so been looking forward to my visit to Peek a Boo Canyon as I love visiting slot canyons. My sister and I met with Lara at a predetermined location and the adventure began. She was a fabulous guide and was very attentive to our every need. She was very familiar with the geography of the cave and the area. She pointed out details we would have missed if we had tried to do this on our own. She even took many pictures for us. Snacks and water were offered. I can’t say enough about this wonderful tour and our guide. We so enjoyed our adventure and I know I will be using them again in the future.

Very knowledgeable and also a lot of fun. Jeff knew his stuff and gave us an amazing tour to the Canyon. He made us feel welcome and safe. The canyon was worth seeing. Besides the Canyon they have a bunch of other tours that would satisfy most travelers bucket lists. They also have town homes where you can stay, we did not stay here but Jeff and his wife Julie will make your stay there most enjoyable.
