Tom Lee Park

Pass by Tom Lee Park, named after Tom Lee, a worker who jumped into the river to save the lives of 32 passengers of a sinking steamboat in 1925. Along the way, you'll learn all about the history of the river and discover how Mississippi influenced commerce in Memphis and the surrounding areas. After this combo tour, you’ll be taken back to your hotel.

We used Uber to get around the city. There were three couples and rented a house for 5 days and 4 nights. Walked around Beal St during daytime. Went to Civil Rights museum an amazing experience. Also took the hour of Sun studios very interesting. We booked again same timeline as this year. Still more to see

Our tour guide was awesome! Very knowledgeable, funny, explained expectations if the tour. He was great! The one thing that was disappointing was The Peabody hotel, it was so crowded, that you could not see the ducks. I feel it was part of our tour and paid for, that we should have been able to encounter this part of the trip a little better. They need to work in this.
