Tom Lee Park

Pass by Tom Lee Park, named after Tom Lee, a worker who jumped into the river to save the lives of 32 passengers of a sinking steamboat in 1925. Along the way, you'll learn all about the history of the river and discover how Mississippi influenced commerce in Memphis and the surrounding areas. After this combo tour, you’ll be taken back to your hotel.

The land tour we had with Darryl was excellent but the Mississippi cruise was not operational and the cruise people did not notify Memphis cruise tours. We were looking forward to the cruise a lot.

The guide loves Memphis and it came across! The river ride was calm and relaxing. Learned a lot about Memphis role in relation to music , medical causes and racial issues.

The Duck March at the Peabody was very entertaining. We knew nothing about it before the tour. Our tour guide, Darryl was extremely acknowledgeable, super friendly and a bit of a comedian. 100% enjoyable.
