Tom Lee Park

Pass by Tom Lee Park, named after Tom Lee, a worker who jumped into the river to save the lives of 32 passengers of a sinking steamboat in 1925. Along the way, you'll learn all about the history of the river and discover how Mississippi influenced commerce in Memphis and the surrounding areas. After this combo tour, you’ll be taken back to your hotel.

Boat ride was nice-and the guide was very entertaining but the boat was old and not very well kept up. The chairs were very uncomfortable and not sturdy. I think a little paint elbow grease and some nicer tables and chairs would make the experience much more enjoyable.

The city tour was okay. Sam, our guide, did a good job of describing the sites, but overall, the city tour was underwhelming. The riverboat tour was great. Besides being on the river for 90 minutes, the guide, Jordan, was informative and entertaining. Three stars for the city tour, five for the riverboat tour.

I will never do business with this company again. I never received a voucher or clear Instruction on what to do once we arrived at the hotel or what shuttle to look for until I inquire at the hotelfound out that best tour is shuttle, ended up missing the the tour. I was able to contact best tour but was told that they left the hotel at 9:10am and would not return for pickups, when I was told that the tour started at 9:30. Very disappointed
