Tom Lee Park

Pass by Tom Lee Park, named after Tom Lee, a worker who jumped into the river to save the lives of 32 passengers of a sinking steamboat in 1925. Along the way, you'll learn all about the history of the river and discover how Mississippi influenced commerce in Memphis and the surrounding areas. After this combo tour, you’ll be taken back to your hotel.

I booked a tour with this company on my very first visit to Memphis and it did not disappoint! Our tour guide Sam was awesome! He was knowledgeable as well as funny and kept us entertained for the duration of the tour. His communication skills are great as he kept me informed if things were running behind. He also called me at the beginning of the tour when my husband and I were waiting in an incorrect pick up location to inform us that he was waiting for us. I am glad that I chose this company to create some of my first memories of Memphis with. I will definitely utilize this company again in the future! Oh and Sam if you see this review, I’m will be waiting for my prize for knowing your trivia question😂
