Tom Lee Park

Pass by Tom Lee Park, named after Tom Lee, a worker who jumped into the river to save the lives of 32 passengers of a sinking steamboat in 1925. Along the way, you'll learn all about the history of the river and discover how Mississippi influenced commerce in Memphis and the surrounding areas. After this combo tour, you’ll be taken back to your hotel.

Our tour driver Michelle was amazing funny and on time - we learned a lot about memphis and surrounding areas - would recommend - brill trip - and the river boat tour was good too .

This tour was fun! Great way to see Memphis without having to drive & park. Got to see St. Jude's Hospital, spend time & have lunch on Beale street, & see the city. Fun being on a paddleboat on the Mississippi so you can for a short time ( wish it were longer) relate to when Mark Twain was a captain navigating the River which is no easy task!

Reserved a tour of the city of Memphis through Tripadvisor with Memphis Best Tours. Very dissatisfied with this company. Checked in the day before the tour date. Some what disorganized conversation. I was given a pickup time of 8:45 AM the next morning. At 9:15 AM, the next morning, I called to see if there was a problem. Again some disorganization during the phone call. I was told that due to the St. Jude Marathon, there would be no tour that day. As I was leaving Sunday morning at 6:00AM, I was unable to do the tour the next day. The dispatcher said that they were NOT aware that the marathon was that Saturday. Now trying to get a refund from Tripadvisor. I would not use this company. Very bad service.
