Definitely an experience worth the time and cost. The guide was extremely knowledgeable. Food and drinks were reasonable. The trip could have been a little longer

Many of the jokes were old and worn. I would have enjoyed the riverboat with no talking ... I would not recommend this unless you really had your heart set on going in a circle in a small riverboat with a loud mouth guide. Seats on top fill up fast so get in front of line. Snack bar limited but did have water and beer (both appreciated in the heat).

Booked this Tour before leaving Australia thinking it would be quite extensive as it was all day. 9am till 4pm ( a 7 hour day ). My mistake. Picked up at Hotel at 9am, driven to visitor centre, waited 30minutes before bus tour commenced, ok, so we had to wait for other tourists to arrive. City Tour commenced and was at best a fleeting glimpse of the city. A total of 2 hours. The stop at St Judes Hospital although interesting, was, I feel not required, a commentary while driving past would have been better. The historic site of The Lorraine Hotel, however in my opinion, did deserve a stop, and not just a fleeting drive by, which is what we got, even though the Civil Rights Museum itself was closed. This was most disappointing. We then got dropped off in Beale Street for lunch at 11.30am, end of City Tour. (2 hours). Waited 2 hours, to be picked up at 1.30pm by another bus to then take us to the Riverboat. Cruise started at 2.30pm (that's another 1 hour wasted) and finished at 4pm. Although informative, they could have cut down the narrative and had maybe a jazz band playing for part of the cruise. People were falling asleep. So, out of a 7 hour day, The City Tour & Riverboat Cruise took a combined total of 3 & 1/2 hours. A big fat waste of time and not worth the money we paid
