Tom Lee Park

Pass by Tom Lee Park, named after Tom Lee, a worker who jumped into the river to save the lives of 32 passengers of a sinking steamboat in 1925. Along the way, you'll learn all about the history of the river and discover how Mississippi influenced commerce in Memphis and the surrounding areas. After this combo tour, you’ll be taken back to your hotel.

Disappointing. Didn't get to do the river cruise. I wasn't told until the late minute and have to make other arrangements to see the sights.

Our city guide was amazing. He was very knowledgeable of all of the city and we were able to see and hear about multiple areas that was unknown to us. We had decided not to get a rental car and use local cab service to go from airport to hotel downtown. We were picked up on time and returned back to our hotel. I can not say enough positive things about the city tour. The riverboat cruise was a bit of a disappointment due to the weather which couldnt be helped, the smell of diesal fuel from the engine, and the seating on the boat. However, all in all it is well worth the money spent.

The river cruise was very good. The bus tour in town was very disappointing. I think we went around St Jude's at least 5 times. It seemed like the tour guide didn't know where to take us. We changed guides in the middle of the tour and recovered much of the same area again. Would not recommend the bus tour to any one. The river cruise was very informative and enjoyable.
