As soon as we set out on our adventure, we saw spinner dolphins. The water was almost like glass, a very calm day for us. We snorkelled by the Monument and saw coral and lots of fish. Very pleasant experience, and we recommend doing this on the Big Island.

I never start a review saying this is the best way to do something- but here I go- this tour is the best way to enjoy a snorkel at the monument reefs. The early start means you arrive about an hour before any other tour groups and you get a quiet snorkel that is conducive to seeing lots of marine life. Conditions degrade when all the other boats arrive and the noise of engines and voices disrupt the environment. Guide was a fantastic host and the paddle was really enjoyable. We saw a very large pod of spinner dolphins and were able to paddle within a safe distance and watch them frolic. A fantastic small tour.

This excursion was so much fun! We made it out to the memorial before the big boats and got some great snorkeling in before the crowds arrived. So much fun!
