What To Expect

NorthBeach

Paddlers will arrive at Northbeach, a waterfront restaurant. Free Parking on site and restrooms are available. You'll check in with Delmarva Board Sports, sign waivers if not already completed on line. Next we will assign you with safety equipment and paddles. After some photos (optional) and land instruction, you will head out into the shallow Rehoboth Bay for paddling. Enjoy local birds such as Osprey, Great Blue Herons, egrets and bald eagles as you paddle along the salt marsh.

We went on a paddleboarding excursion this weekend led by Merit and organized by Janis which was one of the highlights of our trip! They were so good with our varied skill group and helped all of us to get up on our boards without problem. Having a guide was also awesome because he captured our entire experience on camera and got us excellent pictures to remember the trip by! Highly recommend for skilled and newbie paddlers alike!

I am glad one of my friends have done it before, we were not instructed properly on how to get up from a kneeling position to standing , we just followed our friend. then we did not get any good pictures while on the board to capture the experience. here are examples of most of the shots taken. we were disappointed

Hi Annabelle, I'm super sorry you didn't have a positive experience. I agree, your photo looks cloudy. I bet it was super humid and there must have been some condensation on the camera lense. This was my wife and I's first time paddleboarding and I could not recommend a better place! George was a great guide and we did not fall once! They made it so easy and fun for us. In 15-20 minutes we were completely comfortable on the board and were able to cruise around the bay. George also took numerous photos of us that he air droped for free to our IPhone. Highly recommend!!
