The knowledge of the guide, Mike, who brought the civil war as well as general history of Savannah to life through his narrative of events and descriptions of the key figures in a way that gave you a sense of their humanity and contributions. We were so pleased with the experience that we rebooked with Noble Jones on the following day, and after not being able to take the Savannah Architect Tour (a minimum # was required), opted for the Savannah Saunter, led by the humorous and energetic Marcia, who covered all manner of information from the past to the present (including her fav pubs and restaurants). As admirers of the Great American Songbook musicians, we were captivated by the unexpected history about Johnny Mercer. Our first, and certainly not our last, visit to Savannah! Thanks for whetting our appetite!

Thank you kindly for such a thorough review! We really appreciated that you were flexible with us in the switching of tours. It sounds like you had a great time with Marcia (who doesn't?). We hope to see you next time you're in town.

This was a great 2-hour walking tour with our awesome guide Keith. We were given a hearing device so that we could hear Keith's presentation of the historical facts of the Civil War without disruption from the city noise. Keith is extremely knowledgeable about the facts of the Civil War. During our 2 hour tour while listening to the facts of what happened over 200 years ago, we also visited some of the historical sites of where the soldiers gathered during that time. I would recommend this tour primarily because of the hearing device and Keith's vast knowledge of the Civil War. Thank you Keith for the enjoyable tour.
