Overview

Enjoy a close, personal encounter with the West Indian Manatee as you snorkel with them under the guidance of a U.S. Coast Guard Licensed Captain. Our small group (no more than six guests) tours are conducted daily in the beautiful Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge. Get up close and personal with these amazing mammals and learn about the ecosystem and their habitat.

Unlike many tours, these Captains will actually swim with you and your group to ensure that you have a memorable experience. While in the water, your captain/tour guide will take high-definition photos and videos of you and your group which you will be able to view and purchase at the end of your trip.

Your price includes all snorkeling equipment (mask, snorkel, wetsuit) and complimentary coffee or hot cocoa.

Captain Ron and his helper, Shelley, were excellent! We are a family of 6 with kids ranging in age of 14 to 2 years old. They were very patient and knowledgeable. We had an awesome time swimming and snorkeling back into the springs. Afterwards, we boated to another location where they found a manatee for all of us to see. Captain Ron was very patient with helping to teach our 7 year old how to snorkel without panicking. He made sure everyone (including hubby who was in the back of the group) had time to see the manatee up close and personal. Shelley entertained our 2 year old who was too scared to get into the water. When we came back to the boat after being out of sight for 20-25 minutes, our daughter was all smiles sipping her hot chocolate. They provided wet suits, towels, coffee and hot chocolate. We learned a lot about manatees! The captain and assistant took pictures and videos on their GoPro and sold all on them on a jump drive for $30. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and everyone. Two thumbs up!

My wife and I recently took a 10am tour. It was beyond what we expected. Captain Ron and Lauren were absolutely amazing! Both are so knowledgeable about these amazing creatures and made us feel so comfortable. Anyone who is on the fence about this tour, or thinking about going on a similar experience with another company, look no further. These two are the best! Hands down! We'll be back Captain Ron! My.husband and I are older and my self over weight, but.Lauren said we will do great and she was right. Captain Ron.and Lauren are very experience and knowledge able. I would recommend anyone of all ages and sizes to do this.We got to see so many manatees. They.provided wonderful pictures for us to remember this experience. They.also provide wet suits,masks towels. And even hot drinks to warm you up when.you get back on the boat. My family definitely will be coming back and using Captain Ron and Lauren again
