Overview

Enjoy a close, personal encounter with the West Indian Manatee as you snorkel with them under the guidance of a U.S. Coast Guard Licensed Captain. Our small group (no more than six guests) tours are conducted daily in the beautiful Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge. Get up close and personal with these amazing mammals and learn about the ecosystem and their habitat.

Unlike many tours, these Captains will actually swim with you and your group to ensure that you have a memorable experience. While in the water, your captain/tour guide will take high-definition photos and videos of you and your group which you will be able to view and purchase at the end of your trip.

Your price includes all snorkeling equipment (mask, snorkel, wetsuit) and complimentary coffee or hot cocoa.

Captain Ron and Lauren are the absolute best! I would definitely recommend going on a tour with them! They took us to the best spots to see the manatees and did everything they could to make sure we had an enjoyable experience. I plan on coming back in the future and will recommend them to everybody I know!

Signed up for 10 am semi-private manatee snorkeling tour. Location was easy to find. We arrived early but they were already there and ready to get started. All equipment was included. Timing was perfect: we arrived on time to be the first group to enter Three Sisters Spring. Manatees were everywhere (both adults and pups) and they often came over to check us out. The trip is friendly to novice snorkelers and they provided extra help and encouragement when needed. Photos were amazing, worth the fee. As ecotours go, this was one of the best.

My family of 5 took the 6:30 am tour. Capt Ron and Lauren were both great! We were the first boat at the site and the manatees seemed to be just becoming active as we entered the water. Capt Ron pointed out the movements of the manatees from the boat while Lauren spent almost the entire time tending to my youngest ensuring he was comfortable in the water, while still searching for the best places to interact with these amazing, gentle animals. Once we were back on the boat and dried off we had warm drinks and great conversation with our hosts. Would love to do this tour again, recommend it as a must do. Thanks to Capt Ron and Lauren!
