Enjoy a close, personal encounter with the West Indian Manatee as you snorkel with them under the guidance of a U.S. Coast Guard Licensed Captain. Our small group (no more than six guests) tours are conducted daily in the beautiful Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge. Get up close and personal with these amazing mammals and learn about the ecosystem and their habitat.

Unlike many tours, these Captains will actually swim with you and your group to ensure that you have a memorable experience. While in the water, your captain/tour guide will take high-definition photos and videos of you and your group which you will be able to view and purchase at the end of your trip.

Your price includes all snorkeling equipment (mask, snorkel, wetsuit) and complimentary coffee or hot cocoa.

Every one, at some point in their lives, should experience a swim with manatees. These gentle giants are an amazing encounter. On my husband's bucket list was just such an event and it would have been wasted if we had chosen any other operator. Captain Ron possesses a wealth of knowledge when it comes to manatees and, perhaps most importantly, he is all about the experience. His approach is a rare mix of education, conservation and providing an enjoyable, safe experience for his guests. There are many outfits that will take you on a swim with the manatees -- often in large groups, but none can compete with Captain Ron. His infectious sense of humor and attention to his guests' needs made our trip a cherished vacation memory. We loved it so much we will be going back for scallop season!

We had a Fantastic trip on Nov 14, 2017 with Gulf Coast Expeditions. We saw otters, wild pigs, dolphins and swam with manatees! Captain Ron was the best guide and boat captain and Ricky swam in the water to lead us to the manatees and took plenty of photos. They also took us to Three Sisters Springs. They provided wetsuits and snorkel gear, a safe space to lock up our valuables, hot chocolate on the boat and great restaurant recommendations for lunch. Thanks, Captain Ron and Ricky!

Swimming with the manatees was a wonderful experience. Ric was very helpful and reassuring on how to approach the manatees in the water. Both Captain Ron and Ric were very knowledgeable and made sure we had an enjoyable encounter . Also special attention was paid to making sure we were not cold , providing us with wetsuits, towels, warm jackets and serving us hot chocolat and coffee. Exceptional value for a 3 hour tour.
