Overview

Enjoy a close, personal encounter with the West Indian Manatee as you snorkel with them under the guidance of a U.S. Coast Guard Licensed Captain. Our small group (no more than six guests) tours are conducted daily in the beautiful Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge. Get up close and personal with these amazing mammals and learn about the ecosystem and their habitat.

Unlike many tours, these Captains will actually swim with you and your group to ensure that you have a memorable experience. While in the water, your captain/tour guide will take high-definition photos and videos of you and your group which you will be able to view and purchase at the end of your trip.

Your price includes all snorkeling equipment (mask, snorkel, wetsuit) and complimentary coffee or hot cocoa.

I would highly recommend swimming with manatees to everyone. My friend and I drove from the Midwest just for this experience and it was more than worth it. Captain Ron and Lauren are absolutely wonderful and made this amazing adventure even that much more enjoyable. Seriously, do not go to anyone but them. They are knowledgeable and give you SO much time to interact with the manatees. Lauren took so many wonderful pictures and videos which we were able to buy for a very reasonable price. They care about you having a wonderful experience, but also care about the manatees very much and make sure that they are respected and never mistreated. This was easily the best experience of my life.

My two teenage girls, husband and I enjoyed this so much. My oldest daughter and I have visited 49 United States together and this is in our top 10 activities that we’ve done. Truly AMAZING!!!

Amazing trip. Captain Ron and his wife were very accomodating, took us in an 6:30am tour, even though we were the only customers that morning. They were very knowledgeable about manatees, took nice photos, gave us wetsuits, hot chocolate. Highly recommended. They only take max of 6 people to make it personable, somebody is in the water with you all the time and show you things. We recommend early morning for the best experience. When we arrived it was us and 4 other people from a different boat, we had the whole place for ourselves, manatees were more curious, came play with us. By the time we were done (around 9-9:30) the place was mobbed already. It was worth waking up so early. They offered us a memory stick with the photos for thirty bucks. Please have in mind that every experience is different, it depends on temperature, colder it is more manatees in Tree Sisters springs.
