I have taken many freedom tail tours in the past and unfortunately this one was not as good as the others. The gentleman was kind but the tour lacked all the stories I have heard in the past regarding the history of the various sites. It was rather bare bones and felt a bit disorganized

I have no idea what stories you expected, but each major site has a story relating the background and what occurred there - and their implications as well. Surprised that you didn't note the architectural history information and stories that add a significant added dimension. But then I am not sure why someone would continue to take the same tour over and over again - that's a whole other question.
