I am a teacher and I went on this tour with my 8th grade students this week. Prince Hall was our tour guide and he was INCREDIBLE! He was great at adapting the tour to work for our 8th graders. He knew so much information and expressed it in engaging ways, often with great humor! It's also a cool way to see the city of Boston - love that it's a walking tour through a modern-day city while learning about its historical roots!

We took the walking tour yesterday & really enjoyed it. Our guide Alan was excellent; he was very knowledgeable about the history of Boston. He was very careful to keep the group together & to make sure that everyone could hear what he was saying. Highly recommend the tour!!

It is mid October in Boston- wear a hat, hood, gloves and a coat. We visited on Friday October 19 11am tour It was windy. Our guide was awesome! We toured with Gabriel Graetz posing as John Singleton Copley ā€œJackā€. He was dressed in period clothing, spoke loudly, kept the tour moving, had large visuals in his bag which he showed us through out the tour. He was funny and informative. The tour takes you through Boston Commons to cemetery and other historical sites nearby. Walking pace was moderate not too slow. Our group of 30 people kept together just fine. Ended near lots of shops/ restaurants which was perfect for 12:30 pm!
