our first forty five minutes is an educational journey conducted by Dennis Thompson, the discoverer and founder of the Gypsy Vanner Horse breed. Dennis and Erin will then introduce you to a Gypsy Vanner stallion and explain the envisioned look and details unique to the Vanner breed. Your second hour is a walk among horse filled paddocks lined with ancient oaks laden with the romantic Spanish moss of the south. On your walk you will meet beautiful stallions and mares and friendly Gypsy Vanner Horse babies. wonderful trip for a saturday morning. very informative, relaxing ,friendly and fun. we arrived about 15 minutes before the start of the tour. which started at 10 am. we were able to walk around and see the horses, mules and birds. The tour starts with dennis talking about his experience and the history of the gypsy vanner horses. very interesting, then he takes you on a little walking tour. we were able to take pictures , there was a baby donkey that was there about 4 days old. you can also take carrots or apples to feed the horses. Just an overall great trip if you love horses and animals.

Dennis gave a terrific introduction to the creation of his farm and his love for the horse breed. Great to get up close to the horses. We fell in love with the 4 day old burro

Thanks Karen, we have people trying to pry that little burro from us but no deal. We now have three baby burros, one each in the three sizes of donkeys . The smallest (the one you saw ) can walk under the largest ones belly and they are very similar in age. Fun to watch. Warm Regards, Karen Dennis and Erin
