I wanted to visit some thoroughbred horse farms. There was no availability, except at Gypsy Gold Farms. The presentation on how the race of these horses originated and how it was established were fascinating. Also, information on how horse farms can survive from the reproduction in vitro and sale of young colts were fascinating, as well as educational protects that involve elementary schools of the area . However, the talk included too much personal information, that might be interesting to some, but I started to question if we were able to enjoy a walk if the horses. Finally, our owner and host introduced us our guide, Taylor. A very charming college students with great love for horses and dunkeys. Our tour became magical, being accompanied by a young donkey whose name is Patience, and who makes sure no one is left behind. At the end, I loved the tour. A 4 rating is due to the very long introduction.

Dear Aymara, thanks for your nice review, Patience has been trained to save visitors who think I talk too much :) "Our tour became magical" tells me that Patience did his job. Warm Regards, Dennis

Far exceeded my expectations! I was captivated by the warm and welcoming atmosphere that reflects the owners' genuine love for their Gypsy Vanner horses, as well as all of the other animals on the farm. Every corner of the farm resonates with the passion and dedication of the owners, making it a unique and memorable experience. You can feel the love and care that goes into every aspect of this haven for both horses and visitors. It is a truly special place where the owners' vibrant life and and connection with the horses shine through in every detail. I also love that they are now sharing this experience with the local schools, educating the children and teaching compassion. I highly recommend a visit to Gypsy Gold Farm :)

Dear Patricia, your words are so appreciated. I may have mentioned that I have begun to write a book and by doing so, it became clear that love and passion are the driving forces of every chapter. When you visited Gypsy Gold you stepped into the last chapter. Thanks for visiting and seeing it for what it is, simple ! Dennis

The tour of the farm was most memorable. A thoroughbred had just given birth to a colt. Thrilling to watch him literally “get his legs.” The guide might consider a microphone with speaker allowing the group to hear her points of knowledge, yet low enough not to bother the horses. The first hour was as he noted “ an old man’s “ PowerPoint. Dennis is a wealth of historical knowledge of his beloved “ Gypsy Vanners.” I would encourage him to integrate large easels with pictures, a couple of “ mappings” reinforcing the lineage of horse breeds he speaks of… Vanners, mules, donkeys, etc. The group of twenty plus attendees were motivated to be on the farm ready to hear, see, touch and leave feeling Dennis’ passion. A few adjustments will ensure maximum joy for Gypsy Vanners.
