Anyone who wishes to have an excellent, informative and fun experience with horses should attend! Dennis Thompson, founder of Gypsy Gold Farm and first person to ever bring the amazing Gypsy Vanner breed to the United States, is a wealth of knowledge and history! I have been a number of times and enjoy myself immensely every time! I could listen to Dennis for hours with his extensive experiences and passion in all he does! They also have beautiful, one of a kind, tack available specific to the Gypsy Vanner! I will continue to share this experience with others and thoroughly enjoy inviting them to experience the farm tour for themselves!

What an awesome review Valerie, thank you so much. It seems that animal people have a kinship with passion and an extra dose of empathy. It must be why Gypsy Gold feels like your home away from home, we hope that never ends. Thanks Valerie, Dennis and Erin

Learned a lot about a breed of horse that we had never heard of from the person, Dennis who brought the first horse over from the UK. Entertaining and welcoming host. The horses are beautiful and very docile. They enjoyed the human interaction. The setting is tranquil. It was 2 hours very well spent. Dennis has plans for expanding things like having a wine and cheese pavilion and interactive things for the kids and more. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone.

Thanks E9483KAsp, we call them Golden Retrievers with hooves. The Vanner is the most people oriented horse breed I personally have ever known and they have a flee factor that seems less than other horses. That means they dont scare as easy and get over it faster. About two weeks ago a Vanner gelding sold for $112,000 . The horse was incredible, you could side pass a horse over the top of it as it was laying down and even shoot a gun while you did it . The Vanner continued to eat grass throughout the ordeal. Thats crazy calm ! Thats $112,000 calm. Cheers, Dennis and Erin

My husband and I had the opportunity to visit Gypsy Gold Farm today and enjoyed it very much! The surroundings and the horses are beautiful and amazing! The owner gives a talk about the history of how the horses came to the US and how the Farm began in Florida. You have a chance to walk around and visit and learn about the Gypsy Vanner horses. It’s a wonderful activity and special experience! So glad we went! We were there about 2.1/2 hours.
