What To Expect

The Gypsy Gold Farm

our first forty five minutes is an educational journey conducted by Dennis Thompson, the discoverer and founder of the Gypsy Vanner Horse breed. Dennis and Erin will then introduce you to a Gypsy Vanner stallion and explain the envisioned look and details unique to the Vanner breed. Your second hour is a walk among horse filled paddocks lined with ancient oaks laden with the romantic Spanish moss of the south. On your walk you will meet beautiful stallions and mares and friendly Gypsy Vanner Horse babies. Your Gypsy Gold Farm Tour ends with a picture opportunity with an incredible Gypsy Vanner Horse stallion and a visit to the Gypsy Gold gift shop.

This was our first trip to the Gypsy Gold farm but it will not be our last!! I absolutely enjoyed learning about how the breed came to be known as the Gypsy Vanner, and how they were brought to America. We enjoyed the environment so much. This was worth the drive. Great for young and old alike!!

Everything! The owner and his wife are fun loving incredible people. The presentation was the best I've ever heard. It was sprinkled with humor and captivated our attention. The owner is well researched and knows everything about his breed. The horses are amazing. Very laid back people, extremely accommodating!!! You really felt like a royal guest at their farm. I will be bringing people back here for years to come! They have a new vision and can't wait until it comes to fruition!!!! I posted pics on Social Media and now all my family and friends want to come. Thank you so much for an enjoyable day at your beautiful farm. I sincerely hope all of your dreams come true.
