The Gypsy Gold Farm
our first forty five minutes is an educational journey conducted by Dennis Thompson, the discoverer and founder of the Gypsy Vanner Horse breed. Your second hour is a walk among horse filled paddocks lined with ancient oaks laden with the romantic Spanish moss of the south. On your walk you will meet beautiful stallions and mares and friendly Gypsy Vanner Horse babies. Your Gypsy Gold Farm Tour ends with a picture opportunity with an incredible Gypsy Vanner Horse stallion and a visit to the Gypsy Gold gift shop.

What an amazing experience! I had never heard of Gypsy Vanner horses before and there I was surrounded by these beautiful animals and got quite an education about them and their heritage from the amazing Dennis Thompson. A bonus was seeing the macaws who paid careful attention to the presentation and learning about them from their caretaker. Be sure to bring carrots or apples if you go. It is fun to feed the horses. I also recommend that you wear shoes or sneakers.( I wore sandals and my feet were very dirty after walking in the sandy dirt around all the paddocks.)

Absolutely amazing!!!! One of the best experiences I have ever had. If you do one thing in Central Florida, this should be it. It was educational, heartwarming, and such a special day. We'll be taking our entire family when they come to visit. Dennis Thompson has such a passion for animals and tells the TRUE story of these majestic horses, how he met them, brought them to the states, and helped create a legacy for the Gypsys in such a way that you hang on to every word and can't help but feel so much emotion. Incredibly delightful A+++
