The Gypsy Gold Farm
our first forty five minutes is an educational journey conducted by Dennis Thompson, the discoverer and founder of the Gypsy Vanner Horse breed. Dennis and Erin will then introduce you to a Gypsy Vanner stallion and explain the envisioned look and details unique to the Vanner breed. Your second hour is a walk among horse filled paddocks lined with ancient oaks laden with the romantic Spanish moss of the south. On your walk you will meet beautiful stallions and mares and friendly Gypsy Vanner Horse babies. Your Gypsy Gold Farm Tour ends with a picture opportunity with an incredible Gypsy Vanner Horse stallion and a visit to the Gypsy Gold gift shop.

Getting sloppy horse kisses was the best thing in the world. Wonderful time . The compassion for the animals was obvious.

Wonderful people and a unique story, but if you have been on a farm before you will not be wowed here. The horses are beautiful and incredibly docile, time with them was good but not with a crowd of people. This was a good experience for horse lovers or someone who has never experienced a farm setting.

OK David my new mission is to wow you ;) From one farm boy to another I appreciate your review and desire to avoid the crowds but how about we keep the crowds and wow you also, we can do it, please return one day to see. Thanks David, Dennis and Erin

Beautiful horses and farm. Dennis has a vision that I hope he is able to implement - This is not a high end tour, its a good family fun tour with a very good tour guide. It’s 45 minute discussion about the breed and how he built up his farm and then walking around getting to see and know the horses. I don’t see this as a good tour for small children but any older kids that like horses and want to understand this usual breed would find it just as interesting as I did.

Thanks so much for your great review. We are working on the small child issue, did we tell you about the Klinen Zu , we are developing? It's a kind word zoo for children where they will learn the importance of kind words and expressing courtesies from retired teachers. Assisted by two goats named Nice and Kind, a donkey named Mr Rogers and possibly a rabbit named Please and a Llama named Thank You. We will cure the small child problem in creative and meaningful ways. Warm Regards, Dennis and Erin
