What a fun, wholesome educational adventure! I went on the tour after finding it on TripAdvisor. The first half is a sitting event where Dennis, the owner tells the history of the Gypsy Vanner breed. (He was the first to bring these horses to America) Peppered with stories of his amazing life and discovery of the breed is mesmerizing. You will learn about the gypsy life in Great Britton and this glorious horse that pulled their caravan wagons. After the talk, Dennis’ ranch helper, Taylor (?name correct) walks with us through the paddocks and we watched adorable foals, mares and stallions show how beautiful this breed is. Dennis calls them “Golden retrievers with hooves”, a nod to their gentle behavior. If you are even a tiny bit “horsey” or just curious, this is a fun two hours to spend at a lovely horse farm tucked into rural Ocala
