Your second hour is a walk among horse filled paddocks lined with ancient oaks laden with the romantic Spanish moss of the south. On your walk you will meet beautiful stallions and mares and friendly Gypsy Vanner Horse babies. Your Gypsy Gold Farm Tour ends with a picture opportunity with an incredible Gypsy Vanner Horse stallion and a visit to the Gypsy Gold gift shop.

Breed history lecture, petting the horses, and watching the newborn baby and his Mother we're my favorites.

"Unique Experience" says it all. We are listed in Atlas Obscura ( unique things to experience in the word) and have been in the top 10% of Things to Do for Trip Advisor in the World for the last four years. Your review makes us smile, Thank You Very Much, Dennis, Erin, Taylor

We really enjoyed Denise’s story about how he started Gypse Gold Farm. His story was both entertaining and informative. He was very inspiring and humorous. The girl that took us on the tour was great. She knew a lot about the farm and the horses. She even went out if her way to go get 3 horses from back in the pasture because they wouldn’t come to us. Job well done Denise and staff. We will definitely come back soon.

Thank you so very much for your kind review of what we do and especially for your words about Taylor, she is a 19 year old Animal Science major at The university of Florida who aspires to run a horse farm and we want to help her achieve her goals. We look forward to your return. Dennis -Erin-Taylor

The initial hour long verbal history by Dennis took and hour and 15 minutes. Way too long. His visual aides were black and white pictures that he held up and you couldn't really see very well. Some were so old and worn that there was a cross in the middle of the picture (from being folded) where the light shown through. He would do well to have a professional interview him and edit to a film with beautiful color photos of the horses. What I remember most about this long "talk" was about Dennis and his inventions more than about the breed. The most enjoyable thing was feeding the horses the apples and carrots that we brought. We were there on a Monday so maybe everyone was tired from the weekend. A young girl took us on a tour of the farm. She seemed very knowledgeable but some type of microphone would have helped everyone hear her better. Sadly, all in all the experience was a big disappointment.

I now set an alarm so we don't go over the time intended. When you visit Gypsy Gold you are visiting a real horse farm with one of the most unique stories in the annals of equine history. As you suggest, the story has already been recorded and in time you will sit around campfires and listen to it on a commercial audio video system. The tour will be much slicker then and some will love it and some will not. For as long as you live, you will never again hear a story of the discovery of a breed from the person who actually did it. We are disappointed that you were disappointed, so we hope you will try again once the experience is more commercial. Thanks Dennis
