Haleakala National Park
Enjoy an informative tour of Upcountry Maui, Haleakala National Park and a trip up to the summit. Admire views like no other in this world of the dormant crater as well as bicoastal views of Maui.
3
Kula
Maui’s rich farming and ranching history is still evident by the vast pastures that line the side of the mountain. Kula’s cool weather and rich volcanic soil make the area an ideal spot for a number of Lavender, Protea, and Macadamia Nut farms.
4
Makawao
The Hawaiian Cowboys or Paniolos have roots set deep in the town of Makawao. This small town still has hitching rails at storefronts just as the locals once used to tie up their horses.
5
Paia
Today Pa’ia is a popular surf destination, however, Pa’ia’s history is as intriguing as it is fascinating. Learn about how the Sugar Plantations shaped this town and the culture of the island, and how this small north shore town was once a gathering place for entertainment and fun.

The experience is singular and special. The difference between one operator and another comes in the quality of the bikes, the guides, and how warm they keep you. The bikes were top notch. The guides were a little disorganized but kept it together well enough. Billy was an exceptional guide sharing incredible amounts of information about the mountain and Hawaii. The other guide we spent time with wasn’t nearly as much fun or caring. We were very cold at the top of the mountain and would have preferred to receive warmer protective gear, particularly gloves.

The driver was amazing I loved Eddie! The downfall of the tour is certainly the towns you drive through. Yes they’re adorable but the drivers (mostly locals) will swear at you, tailgate you (which on a bike reallllllly sucks) hence the 4/5 I frankly was actually worried for my life.

I booked a morning tour because I didn’t want to have to get up at 2:30AM on vacation but they canceled the morning ride because they didn’t have enough bookings. I didn’t have time to look for alternatives and had to accept the sunrise tour. They gave me wrong instructions on where to wait for the bus so when the driver arrived they called my wife and woke her up at 3AM looking for me. We got to the summit 45 minutes early waiting for the sunrise. They were not forthcoming in the office with the fact that it was 35degrees with a 30mph wind at the top. Many people didn’t wait for the sunrise because they were too cold and had to go to the bus. The bike ride itself was great. Once we got going the guide really knew what he was doing and kept the group under control and safe from traffic. The ride was very enjoyable. We got back to the office and my son and I waited 45 minutes for them to arrange a ride back to the resort and finally our driver came out and said he was never told he needed to drive us. This group has a great system but the execution is mismanaged. The guides were very good and tried hard but they need much better office support.
