Haleakala is known for rapidly changing weather conditions and dense clouds and rain are common. As a result, clear viewing of the sunrise is not guaranteed, and the tour operates rain or shine. Refunds will be granted only when the tour is cancelled for safety reasons.
The high altitude at the summit area may complicate health conditions and breathing difficulties. Elderly visitors, pregnant women, young children, and those with respiratory or heart conditions should consult their doctor prior to touring. Walk slowly and drink water to avoid dehydration. If you have gone scuba diving, you should wait at least 24 hours before going on this tour.

The coach arrived our hotel to pick us up on time. The coach is very comfortable. Our driver/guide, Judy, is very friendly and did her job well to make our trip a pleasant one. The sunset view on Haleakala is brilliant. The dinner also tastes very good. One tips: dress warmly, it's very windy and cold up hill.

This was a great way to take in the beautiful scenery and take some stunning photo's. The crew was awesome and very entertaining. We didn't want to get off the boat we had so much fun. One of the highlights of the trip.

I had a great trip with a lovely set of travellers from US, Australia, Japan and Switzerland! Our guide was Michael and he made everyone feel at home. The weather was iffy, and cloud closed in when we got to the top. Oh so disappointed, but wait — hang on one minute, the weather cleared and we had great views down into the crater, views of the observatory and super sunset views - could not be happier. The meal back at the golf club was excellent - could not fault the food or the service. Very happy with my choice of tour - would definitely recommend.
