Haleakala National Park

Hike two miles at the summit and experience a landscape unlike anything you’ve ever seen. A second two-mile hike at approx. 8,000 ft to and from the iconic Rainbow bridge. We also stop at the summit visitor center to take in the spectacular views from the highest point on Maui at 10,023 feet elevation. Water, snacks, and lunch are included.

My husband and I loved hiking Haleakala National Park. We both had the chance to see the beauty within the crater and witnessed the rare silver sword plant that only grows on the Summit and is an endemic species. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about Hawaiian plant life and geological formations. We highly recommend anyone that visits Maui, Hawaii to add this to their excursions!

Perfect for casual hikers who want to hit a few of the best trails in the park! It was a great day trip for us because we didn’t have time to plan much before we came out to Maui. We were back at the meeting point before 3:30 which allowed us some time to hang out the rest of the day. The group was about 8 people. They provided a backpack and jacket for those traveling without. The trails were not crowded at all, and were easy to moderate (but not for those who can’t tolerate high altitude or rocky terrain). The trails were hike-able in supportive running shoes, although proper hiking shoes would have been better due to the large loose rocks. Lunch, snacks, and water were plentiful. It’s always nice having a local guide to learn about the island(s) as well. Our guide Stephen did a great job and was very knowledgeable. Also played good music in the van :) Thank you!
