View at the top of crater was surreal. The dark and red rock face looked alien. Very different views from the rest of the island. We stopped at multiple access points for photos and to read info. The driver gave us lots of interesting history about Hawaii to make the trip to the summit enjoyable. The bike ride down was beautiful with the countryside and full island views. Bikes and other equipment well provided. I would recommend friends to do the trip with Bike Maui. Also, Bike Maui has the best Maui stickers on the island.

What an incredible staff at Bike Maui, extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Our Bus guide to the top and to our self guided bike area Marlon was soooooo funny, smart and we learned a ton from him!

Haleakala Summit was great.The bike tour was excellent.Don't go down so quickly,or you will miss the wonderful view.
