this is a great experience and a must see if youre on the island. The waking up early is tough because it is hard to sleep in the van/truck, but it is 100% worth it!!!

great trip up the mountain and even better coming down. tour guide Keith was great. he gives you all kind of historical facts about the island. the sunrise was spectacular. the bike ride down was quite a rush.

We did this last fall and it was amazing. The guides were great and the bike down the mountain was pretty easy with great views along the way. You have to get there really early (still dark out by a while) to get all the way up the mountain before sunrise. The roads are really winding and the bus is large so I got kinda nauseous on the way up. It was also cold so dress warm. Even the ride down is pretty cold and I wish I had worn more layers. (they provide outer gear and gloves but I would wear leggings plus pants of your own and a few layers on top too. I recommend it to anyone visiting Maui. Maui brewing Co is on the way home too so hit it up after the ride!
