What an experience! We did the sunrise self guided tour and boy was it worth the early wake up call. Our driver/guide was friendly, funny and knowledgeable. The entire staff was helpful and wanted to make sure we had the best time. Sunrise at the park was fabulous, and the ride down was an experience to never forget. Would absolutely do this again.

Loved watching the sunrise and the ride down was fun. Advice: 1.Drink coffee and have a bite to eat before you start the tour at 3:30am or take it with you. Take a backpack with water/coffee/snacks as it will be at least 9am before you can buy anything on the ride down. 2. Wear/pack layers. Hat, gloves, sweatshirt or coat. It is cold on the summit and you stand there for a good while watching the colors change as the sun comes up. Again a backpack to make it easy to shed layers as you descend. 3. Grab one of their raincoats! It will rain or mist for at least part of your ride.
